My Name is Kim Sam Soon
This particular South Korean drama falls under the category of romantic comedy. Kim Sun Ah, Hyun Bin, Jung Ryu Won, Daniel Henney are the actors in it. The storyline goes like this... A girl named, Sam Soon, loves baking and dreams of having a shop her own for selling her bakery products. She has another dream of changing her old fashioned name.

Following a break up from her boyfriend Sam Soon finds work in the pastry making section of a grand French restaurant. From here the drama takes an interesting twist which actually forms a story within a story. Like a typical love story, Sam Soon and the restaurant owner have a not-so-compatible relation even though they are just employee and employer.

Soon Sam Soon is in need of a huge amount of money and finds none other than her employer for help. Agreeing to render the help on one condition Sam Soon has to pretend being his girlfriend. In the meanwhile her employer falls in love with her but life does not remain as easy with his ex-girlfriend entering the scene. Henceforth, the story takes a long course of dramatic events that makes this the best Korean drama series and TV shows of 2005.

East of Eden
Starring in this South Korean drama are Song Seung Hun, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Da Hae, Yun Jung Hoon, Park Hae Jin, Han Ji Hye. The East of Eden is directed by So Won Young. This drama has bagged many awards in the year 2008, like, awards for writer of the year, award for popular actor as well as actress, Golden acting awards, male and female excellence awards, grand prize award, etc.

The story resembles a typical old Bollywood films where babies get exchanged accidentally at birth. The protagonist,Lee Dong Chul, is one of the babies of course and when he is five, he is witness to a horrible happening. He sees his father being killed and thus swears revenge.
